Try RS Negi at 09411359450 at Village Urgam before Kalpeshwar - he may be able to help.

Pachkedar thru new route??

Saurav

I have done PanchKedar year before last but went thru the normal route of Kedar-MadhMaheshwar-Tungnath-Rudranath and Kalpeshwar. What is the route you are planning - though I cant join but I would like to know. Are you planning to trek from Madhmaheshwar to Tungnath without using road transport and then on to Rundranath from Tungnat - my porter told me it was possible. The route from Rudranath to Kalpeshwar is a used by others also but your plans seems to be more fun. BTW at Madhmaheshwar if you are camping - I would suggest Budha Madh for the same.

for rudranath i started from mandal and came back through sagar route escaping kalpeshwar via dumuk,
so i want to do it in different route, ill start from kalpeswar,
then bansinarayan then nandi kund the origin of madmaheshwar ganga then madmaheshwar so tunganath will not be enroute, but this is an ultimate trek max alt.5300mtr ap-prox

Hi,
Think again about doing the trek during May. There would be too much snow and after Bansinarayan temple you need a person who has done the trek and it is difficult to find one. The way you are planning there would be lots of climb upto Ghiyavinayak pass.
Take care as there is no help available after Urgam till you reach Madhmaheshwar, a period of nearly six days.

Hi,
The trail to Urgam is straight forward from Helang- 09 km climbing.
Reach there and take guide from there for visiting Bansinarayan and from there Rudranath via Dumak. At Bansinarayan you can spend the night below the big stone behind the temple. So may be you do not require to carry tent.
All the best
