Friends,
After a long break, we are back with a bang. We (a team of six climbers) are attempting the treacherous but rewarding Kalindi Khal pass expedition in Uttarakhand. Located at an altitude of 5967 meters, it is one of the highest mountain passes in the world. The route starts from Gangotri and end at Badrinath, but encircles it via the north instead of the south. Offers up and close encounters with Mt Nanda Devi, Mt Satopanth and the magnificent Mt Shivling.
Due to global warming, the glaciers and crevasses in the region have become very dangerous, and it is a challenge for even the experienced mountaineers. Do keep us in your prayers!
