Information on Rachela pass

Hello,

I am planning to trek Rache La in April 2010 and I am not gettin g much information about Rache la. Please help.

Hi Tamal,

Are you talking about Sikkim Reche La?? is yes, the itinerary is like:

Day 1: Lava - Zero Point (jeep) - Aluabari (trek)
Day 2: Aluabari - Reche La (jor pokhari)
Day 3: Reche La - Reche Camp
Day 4: Reche Camp - Bhote Kharak - Mouchaki Bit
Day 5: Mouchaki Bit - Suntalekhola

you need permission for this trek from Lava Forest Dept. and have to deposit some fees.

This trek is known as Sikkim - Neora Valley Trek.

If there is any other Rachela, I don't have any clue.

Hi Supratim,

Thanks for the information. I did not know that this is also known as Neora valley trek. Is there any treker's hut to stay? I had only experience of treking is Sandakphu and Phalut. So if you want to share any tip for this trip it will be a great help. Where can I get some photographs or travalogue of Neora valley trek?
