Himalayas in early March-- Please help!

Could knowledgeable folks pleez suggest some good treks which can be done in beginning of March. I am planning to leave during the early first week of march.

Would appreciate a sppedy response as I have very less time to plan out everything!!

i am going 2 gomukh on 8th of march
i hope thats the time u also wanna go trekking
so lets join
we r 2 of us me and my friend
if u have a group we can join
only moto is trekking in march
although it is not the best time since the temple will be closed
but then ....
am leaving frm chennai

Hi Saurav,

Wishing you the best for Gaumukh trip. However i dont see you reaching till there.

The snowfall thsi year has been very heavy. The road till Gangotri may not be open during this period. Be prepared to trek to Gangotri.

hi rajeev,
gaumukh is not possibal in this month.. Opening time of temple is may...and if u want to trek before opening, u need permit from utterkashi.
try... deoriatal - chopta, dodital, nagtibba.....
