Himachal In Feb-March

Hey Guys
A friend and I are planning on heading towards Kasol and then to Spiti-Lahaul sometime in Feb-March. Would like you guys to shine some light on this.

If this is a strict no-no, anywhere else in the Himalayas (within the Indian Territory)?

Thanks much, guys! Hoo-ah!

It's a definite no-no for Spiti-Lahaul, you might get in but you might not get out again! Kasol is doable but it will be verreee cold & everywhere is more or less closed down.KK

If you go chasing rabbits you know you're going to fall!!!

You could get to Manali & Vashisht at this time, where you will find a few more places open, however it will still be fairly cold in feb, but late march would be ok. There are many other options in the Himalayas if you can be more accurate about when in feb/march you want to go & for what reasons?

For example; You a hookah smoking caterpillar? KK

It snowed heavily all over HP yesterday. This year the winter is long and severe.

Take ur hookah along and head towards Solang .. There aint anything besides the commercial skie slope .. But then find a good place to stay and u can relax with the huge mountains with ur smoke ..
Am heading in April .. Lets see what do we have in store this time around..
As KK said.. kasol surely wud be cold .. I felt Kasol was more colder then Solang when i visited .. So be prepared ..

Cheers ..

Yes, but those 2 places are closed.
Mussoorie, Almora, Binsar, Ranikhet, Nainital, Mukteshwar, to name a few.
