are there any good high hills where I can push my hubby over the edge. I will insure him for a million pounds first though. ( not really, we have just rowed for the umpteenth time about our itinerary in India and I want one thing and he wants another. He wants a hotel with a view on a high hill.Any ideas.Vythri area

Have you considered going your own separate ways for a few days? Doing so might take the sting off having to compromise during the time you do spend together.

There's one in the himalayas that might do the trick ..... I think it's called, appropriately, 'Ever Rest' or something.

Vythiri perhaps?
Yes Vythiri, in the rain forest in WAYANARD. I would love to go to but I am worried about the monsoons and the track is apparently muddy, unmade, and takes ages to get up there. Raincountry resort in Likkidi or something like that. Must go. Hubby coming to bed. Night for now. It's 23.32 here in Uk and I have been on line all day. I am weary; Thanks anyway.

vythri is in Wayanad district. there is some tree house, if i rememebr correctly. the highest peak in that area is called Chembra peak. in the monsoons, that area will be greener than anything else that you would have seen. besides that, for high, cliff like places, try the "Ghat Road", that goes from Wayanad to kozhikode. it has 12 crazy turns and a sharp descent.

Afternoon trip to Wayanad

seriously, be careful on the ghat road. it can be real dangerous. and this time of the year, it will be raining most of the time, with fogs. but looks very beautiful.

what do you mean by dangerous, I dont mind standing on top of a car in floods, but hate heights on slippy roads with no sides. Can you tell me more. Maybe a jeep would be better eh? Ta lovee

Nice pics, but did not seem to offer too many possibilities for, umm..., pushing over the edge stuff. I guess this will have to do...
