Good equipment in Delhi

I would like some personal advice here. I want to pick up some trekking equipment from Delhi. I need tents, sleeping bags, jackets etc.

I have been to several of these places but not very happy with the quality of equipment.

Can anyone recommend a good agency for taking equipment on rent in Delhi?

I am trekking to Roopkund, Uttaranchal. So if you can recommened an agency in Almora, Gwaldam that would also do.

Dear VSK

Thanks for the info. Have you personally used their equipment? How are they?

I spoke to Mr Baniwal yesterday. But I wanted a first hand experience from you.

Question Confusing....

People are confusing rent with buy.

The OP has clearly stated that he wants to rent equipment.

I know for a fact that Chogo Ri and Shraddha outdoor do not rent their stuff.

Hi,
Well it is difficult to get equipment on rent and IMF requires advance equivalent to the cost of the items you are taking on rent. Which is not possible.
As for my using the equipment, first I must tell that Mr Baniwal is a friend of mine. I did take the tents and sleeping bags on rent and they served the purpose on Darcha to Lamayuru trek. I also bought the tent from him and used it on Pindari trek. Pics are on the site. As Mr Baniwal himself goes into the mountains he understands the requirements and that is added advantage. I have uploaded the rent list on the site.
I hope I have answered to your satisfaction.
