Gomukh - Tapovan Trek August-09
Hi Friends,
Me and my friend are planning to following trek; I am sure if the season is right, and if the schedule is too tight as well. Suggestions? July 31): Arrive Delhi – Haridwar Aug 01): Haridwar - Uttarkashi Aug 02): Uttarkashi - Gangotri via Gangnani, Harsil Aug 03): Gangotri - Bhojwassa Aug 04): Bhojwassa - Gomukh - Tapovan Aug 05): Tapovan - Exploration Aug 06): Tapovan - Nandanvan Aug 07): Nandanvan - Bhojwassa Aug 08): Bhojwassa - Gangotri Aug 09): Uttarkashi – Haridwar -Delhi I have been to Himalayas just once before in Sikkim - Dzongi-ChauriKhang, and do have idea about this region. Yes, missed that part. Will have to account for an extra day
 Perhaps, I am considering Sep 3rd week as August does not seem possible proffesionally. Is september ideal season for this trek? |
