Goeche La Trek mid June??
Goeche La Trek mid June??
I am planning a Goecha La Trek about mid-late June with my brother.
So we will be two people.
I have been to Goecha la 1 year ago but with a larger team and with own cooking materials and tents. But now it is a different issue.
Can someone help me by stating the cost that we are looking towards? An estimate would be fine.
Further I live in Germany, and I can try to come to India and make it early June. Will it be worth coming early or Late June is fine?
Thanking you.

Northeast gets wet earlier than the western Himalaya so June beginning or end is not ideal if your hoping to see mountains. But I'd guess earlier would generally be better. Late June the monsoon usually has hit most of India. But with mountain weather you never know, but in general I'd say your odds are not good at that time of year.

I am open to have more companions. Currently we are about 4 people. All from Delhi though.
Will be reaching Yaksum on 21 Apr. Let me knor if this suits you.
Well, the trail will take you to a height of almost 5000 m. And your highest sleeping height will be approximately 4200 m (Lamune). The first 3 days of the total 12 days trek is steep. Rest should be ok. Have you trekked before ?
