gaumukh - tapovan in march 10th.

guyz plz tell me whether it will be possible to trek in 10th of march for gomukh-tapovan

means i just want to know whether i will be allowed to trek or not at that time..

someone planning 4 gomukh can join and i wont mind either joining some other group...

plz reply soon today is 2nd. march

I think Gangotri city will be opened in April, so until it is open, u can't trek to Gaumukh or Tapovan, and the major prob is you will face lots of snow.

I want go for a trek on 6th/7th Mar for 3-4 days from delhi.... Please suggest something.

Since the pilgrimage spots will not open till april, you can not try anything in that area in March..Also lots of snow..Why not try something in HP..there are a few good treks from Manali..

I called up some travel guy in manali... he said there are not many routes around which are open... Though he said paragliding has started already . So manali is definitely on the cards

Can you suggest some treks around it ??

The gates of the temple are open in the months of May.. so before that if u want to trek u need trekking permit from utterkashi..rt now its lots of snow...
most of the trek is close in month of mar.. but u can do Ukhimath - Deoriatal - chopta trek(from duggle bhitta u have to trek bcos of snow now a days), dodital trek..
