Gangotri trek

My friends will be on Gangotri - Gaumukh - Tapovan trek in mid May, they did same trek in 2002.

They have a great experience, i was with them on this trek. We enjoy it, even we have little bit snowfall when we arrive at Tapovan, really this trek is experiment in different ways.

Do not worry ? Just contact some local travel agents or friends in Uttarakashi, they will inform you right things and info about weather and trek, as we do before starting the trek !!

Do not worry Enjoy the trek !!

Yes Tapovan & Nandanvan are fantastic places. I recommend taking a guide for the later at least. The path seems to change every season so a taking a local guide helps.
Please do not leave behind any garbage.
