Gangotri to Kedarnath via Auden’s Col, Khatling, Chowki

May seem awful , I don’t have a team and I am interested in doing the trek from Gangotri to Kedarnath via Auden’s Col, Khatling, Chowki. Can someone help me get a guide cum porter, any contact number etc. Not to pinch my pocket, I am in a position to get my own tent, rope, harness, carabiners & etc. Are there any permits that I have to take. If so from where. Or if any of you are doing this trek in 2008, can I be induced in it.

Hi,
Few guides for the trek and you will have to try your luck with any trekking agency at Uttarkashi. As far as permits are concerned you do not require any.
Best is to look for a group moving on this trek.
All the best.
