Everest View Trek
I've worked out a short trek with less time in disposal for a trek to see everest as appended below through Nepal Guide Trek in the month of August
Cost : The cost for the Budget tour is US$ 434 pr person and for Standard US$ 525 per person this is a cost for single person and flight fare is Extra which will be US$ 242 for you and US$ 105 for guide. Need inputs in terms of how good the trek is and how the weather will be....would also like to know if we have others who are interested as well...it will help bring down the cost. Days 1: Flight from KTM – Lukla. Trek to Phakding (2,652m). Days 2: Phakding to Namche (3,440m)- Beginning with a slight climb to Jhorsalle, the trail passes a waterfall. All day, we pass villages interspersed with magnificent forest- rhododendron, magniolia trees andgiant firs. And on the way to walking you will be rewarded (weather permitting) your first glimpse of Kusum Kanggru (6369m) Thamserku (6608m) Everest (8848m) and Nuptse (7879 m). A steep climb up to the beautiful village of Namche bazaar (3440m). Days 3: Namche to Khumjung Village (3,867m): After climbing slightly 1 hour we will arrive Syangboche airstip, we continue working to Everest view hotel, This is world highest hotel from here you will have a very cose and majestic view of Many mountains including Mt Everest. after Everest view Hotel we will work to Khumjung village, here is a very beautiful community of Sherpas.you can have a good mountain view from here. Days 4: Khumjung to Phakding (2,652m) Trek down to Namce, a color full center of Sherpa community, after that continue trek down to Phakding. Days 5: Phakding to Lukla: Last day of the trek in a bustling town enjoy dinner with Your Trekking crew. Days 06: Flight from Lukla - KTM, transfer to hotel

Tourist infrastructure is very highly developed around Namche. So it would be very easy for you to go there without a guide. Guesthouses and restaurants are everywhere, and it should not be a problem to find someone to accompany you for a stretch or two, if you need this.
Costs could be reduced very significantly this way, but bear in mind I am thinking of relative budget accomodation, and I do believe the Everest View Hotel is a luxury hotel of sorts, so that may be the cost driver. No view of Everest is guaranteed in August. It could be very cloudy. But I will cross my fingers for you! ![]() Best wishes Lars |

Everest View
Guides are not required for this trek as food and accommodation are easily available all along the way.
If a view of Everest is all you want, you might want to consider one of the Everest flights which takes you close to the peak. |
