Days walks from Gangotri

Hi,
Has anyone done any days walks whilst staying in Gangotri they can recommend?

Welcome to IndiaMike.
I can remember Supratim told about
Pandu Gupha, located within 1.5 – 2 KM distance from Gangotri. The view of Sudarshan peak is the main attraction here. You may want to send him a PM.

Hardly any day walks from Gangotri except a visit towards Bhoj Kharak.

You can take a walk towards the waterfall after crossing the bridge. From there its a short walk to Pandav Gufa. Nice walk through the forests along the gorge of Bhagirathi.One can also walk on the path to Gaumukh, at least till the check post.Other than that there are not much options unless u want to trek along the path to Bhujkharak and back.
