Day hikes in November
Hi everyone!
Have decided that Ladakh and extended trekking might not be such a good idea in mid- to late November. Has anyone done the Sarahan Wangtu Trek? Would November be too cold? I'll be staying a few days in Delhi, so Coorg is a bit too far and Aravalli too tame. Please give me a few suggestions. What I'd really like is a homestay, daily hikes and someone to accompany me. By the way, I've saved all the input I got from Kaushiks and Rob_the_pom and will consider Ladakh (Lago La) in the spring or summer. |

Sarahan to Wangtu trek is possible in Nov. Try going upto Sangla. Higher reaches will have fresh snow by mid-Oct. Search for reference to Deepak Sanan's book on IndiaMike. It is a good book for Kinnaur and Spiti treks.
