Current conditions on Stok Kangri (June/July 2009)?
My friends and I are heading out to Leh this weekend, and hope to attempt Stok Kangri around the July 12/13 timeframe.
Was wondering if anyone knows what the current conditions on the peak are. I've been told that there's still a lot of snow on the mountains around Leh, though I dont have specific information about SK. We need the ascent to be non-technical climb, so depending on the snow/ice conditions, we may have to rethink our plans. Anyone know what it's like up there these days? |
