Hi
I want to make the chitkul to har-ki-dun via Borasu pass.
this will be my first high altitude trek.
1.being reasnobly fit and 35 years ol is it possible or I'm being a fool.
2.after arriving to hra-ki-dun how many days I have to trek for the road (2 days?)
3.can I get guides at chitkul?
4.how many days this trek should take (5-6?)
5.is mid september is o.k or is it too late?

You will require inner line permit to go beyond Chitkul. The Army is not lenient with foreigners without permits in border areas.

See this link.

inner line permit

Dear Evid Treker
Off course I will try to get it in Peo.
And off course I will not dare do it without the permit.
I was worried about the trek itself and especially the boulders that all the threads talking about this trek focus on.
I thought if I'm there why miss the harkidun area especially when I'm a "green" lover BUT I don't want to do something that I'm not capable of and acting carelessly
