Binsar Trek
Binsar Trek
Hi
I am looking for some info on Binsar Trek, i was going thru the details but surprisingly less info seems to be offered.
We will be around 4 of us going in October. This is the route we decided: Rishikesh to Pauri-Thalsain,start walking from there to Piersain towards Binsar. We want to stay at least 2 nights in Binsar then walk from Binsar to Gairsain, then drive back to Rishikesh. My problem is how to book staying places in the way and do we need to take guides?

Mod note: Travelling. somehow you have posted the same post twice. I have deleted the other and left this one remaining. Please do not post it again, it is too confusing for members. Be patient, someone will come along and help you when they can!
Every cloud has a silver lining!
Now the jeeps go up to Piersain. The further walking distance should be around 8 km frm here.
Won’t require guide from Piersain to Binsar but not sure of further from Binsar to Gairsain. When we went there in 2004 we started early from Peirisan and came back on same day.
There is a Dharmsahala at Binsar. The temple priest who is also incharge of Dharamshala will help in providing boarding and lodging at Dharamshala.
At Thailisain there was a Uttarakhand Tourism guest home (not GMVN). They had lots of nice and economical rooms to stay. Local hotels are also available here.
