Bhabha Pass trek
Bhabha Pass trek
Hi,
I plan to do Bhabha Pass in July. I would start on 6th July from Delhi and return back by 15th.
The plan is somewhat simple.
Day 1: Get to Shimla
Day 2: Shimla-Kafnoo
Day3-Day7:I hope 5 days are enough to go from Kafnoo to Mud on other side
Day 8:Kaza-Manali
Day 9:Manali-Delhi
I have talked to few people but I am the only one who is sure about the plan.
Please let me know if anyone is interested in joining.
P.S. Done Roopkund, Gaumukh-Tapovan, Milam and some other treks in Dalhousie.

Hi,
Came across this site and your post very recently. Can you postpone this trip- will give me time to organise. Will you be going alone or you have a minimum number in mind. What equipment/fire medium is to be organised; have you tied up with the porter/pony.

Hi Sriram,
I've just done a trek, so I may not be doing Bhabha Pass this year.
An artificial lake has come up near Mudh- the last point of this route, lengthening the trek by 30 odd kms. If you do plan this trek pls confirm the status beforehand.
Thanks

My 2 cents
- 4 days from Kafnoo to Mud should be sufficient though there can be no harm in planning / budgeting for an extra day -
- Muling to Phustirang can be done in 1 day.
- From Phustirang to Phaldar is a long day. There are options of camping earlier and still getting to Mudh the next day
- The only bus to Kaza leaves from Mudh in the morning at 7 a.m. So, unless you have pre-booked a taxi from Mudh to Kaza please don't expect that you will be able to go to Kaza the day you land in Mudh.
cheers
