Best treks routes in August?
I was planning of doing the Annapurna Base Camp in August, but i hear August is the worst time because of the monsoon.
My alternate plan was to visit sikkim and the kanchenjunga reserve park which I hear is also a trip not to be taken in august.

Almost all the treks in Ladakh and Spiti regions, most treks in Kashmir region. Check trekking and mountaineering forum for details - there's a thread by Rajatsurey that has consoildated list of treks.
