Hi! Awesome no one describe your trip in words although you did it but surely the kind of difficulties u would have faced that very few people would observe, i could only dream of being adventurous. Hats off to your team

Thanks ...

Thanks everybody ...
Well the writeup is not by me, credit goes to the only lady in group ... she was carrying a notepad all through the trek and used to note everything down to the minutest detail when we were lazing/sleeping in our tents ... Hats off to her

hi,

as you have done this Kalindi trek and this year i am wiiling to go, so i have some questions. From this year onwward Govt applied a rule that for Kalindi Pass only the team should have a Satellite Phone. But unfortunately I didnt find any agency to hire a Satellite phone. So we decide to go to Kalindi Pass and return by the same route not to cross. My question is it possible..? or is it very tough...? Need your suggestion.

Hi,
My friend suggested doing the Kalindi Khal trek in September 2008, however I have been reading a lot of negatives regarding the technicality and the bureaucratic hassles , I guess we don't have that many days of leave , we plan to trek till Khara Pathar within a schedule of ten days , I haven't done many high altitude treks but I am definitely interested in trying this out, do you think the schedule will be hectic ? ? ? I have come to know that it is compulsory to carry satellite phones , can anybody update me about the current status ? ? ? ?

Thanks
-Sunny
