Nature leaves a mark on you, don’t leave one behind...
start your trek from ribdi.hire a vehicle from jorethang to ribdi.will take youa round 2-3 hours to reach ribdi.
another thing...the day you reach jorethang,,, you can directly go over to ribdi...jorethang is around 3 hours from njp ,so total 6 hours from njp to ribdi.start the trek next day from ribdi
Thanks a Lot..
Thank you very much...for the info...
can you tell me that if there any accommodation available in Ribdhi to stay overnight...?

there is not a good hotel in ribdi, which can accomodate several people in number.however some km s away from ribdi there is a place where there are plenty of hotels.i have forgotten the name but you can ask your jeep driver,
i know a person who has a tata indica,his name is guddu(9733441482)

Well ...Then we have to cancel our plan about staying in Ribdhi..I'm looking for some more information regarding this...once again thanks a lot for the info...
At Ridbi there are 3 to 4 options for lodging, Thouse are home stay type. Perfect trek route accommodations. Do not expect deluxe category. But expect homely and friendly type. I can not remember the contact details at moment. I will suggest do not think too much, just go there, enjoy the silence and beauty of nature. Here I am attaching the photo where we stayed(right side house of police out post).

We aren't looking for deluxe category either...what you said will be enough for us...
I'll keep your suggestion in mind...if you have any more suggestions to offer about this route please provide...thanks a lot for keeping informed about Ribdhi...
Hello Sandip,
Normally every one ends the trek at Ridbi. But your plan is to start from Ribdi. Good no problem. There only one problem may arise. That is you are going as a large group. In that case it may happen a problem to get accommodation at Falut as there is less option. If possible try to get advance booking at Falut DGHC Hut. You may carry tent also.

Dear Deban..
We know we are going in a large group which could be a problem to ourselves for accommodation.
...We have already made contact with DGHC in their office in Kolkata a few days back. But they are saying that they are not booking DGHC Huts in advance. There are some problem going on between DGHC and the WB Govt. So till date booking is not available...
....We have decided to reach Falut first and then decide further...[ Well I still remember what you said "I will suggest do not think too much, just go there, enjoy the silence and beauty of nature"]
...Tent is another option we have also thought...Well..let's see...Thanks a lot...

Dear Ranadeep...You can get porter from there...but that depends on how many of them you need because Ribdhi itself is a very small village..
