Thanks KS for your compliment. Happy that it revived some of your long lost memories of your 1st trek (if I am not wrong) to be followed by many many more treks...Recall reading your countless detailed treks & trips (packed with informations & insightful observations) in Suhana Safar and drew many an inspirations as well!!

So how is your preparation going along for your planned trip to the North East which I read in one of your post.
Incidentally, I too hail form that 'elusive green belt', but now caught in the 'concrete jungles' of Mumbai lose no oppurtunity to escape into the lap of mother nature when-so-ever possible... -

Am not too sure that you would be able to make it till Zero point in december, it would surely be snow-bound. But suggest you check it out once wih some local guides who would be able to advise you accordingly...

Best wishes that you succeed in your venture to do a winter trek to Pindari & Kafni...

Abhishek - you are going in off-season but it will depend on your luck whether you reach zero point or not - in my view chances are more than even that you will. I think, it isn't important to reach a particular point but enjoy the trek, which I am sure you will. Just make sure you stock up well on food and take the guide's advise on whether to proceed beyond a particular point.

Wish you all the best and do report back how it went.

Can you provide me the most recent number of Debu please? We are planning a trip to Pindari/Kafni in June. The phone number provided here is not working...Thanks a lot in advance.

05963200563, 08859932427. Please fix the rates with him in advance. He and his son Khilaf organised my trip earlier.

Hi Maurya,

Debu keeps changing his numbers, it is really a challenge to track him, of course, currently he is out on a trek.
Nice to hear that you are planning a trek to Pindari/Kafni.

Would you please post a request in my blog (check the link below), so that I can connect with you and assit you better.
