Nun Kun

It's supposed to be a very technical peak.

Nun Kun

Nun and Kun are two separate peaks in Jammu and Kashmir. Although Nun is the higher of the two, Kun is more technical and difficult. Nun is not technical but requires a good level of fitness.
You may contact Motub Chewang from http://www.rimoexpeditions.com who will be able to make all the arrangements for you. Best to get a few more people to join in to cut down on individual costs. Have a safe and successful trip.

Hi all,

Even I want to climb Nun next summers, preferably solo. Does anybody have any idea how much should it cost me? I have just climbed Stok Kangri solo a month ago and understand that there is no comparison between the two peaks. Still, I am an athlete and fighting fit, didn't have the slightest of headaches even on the summit at 6153 meters.

Any info about the cost and technicalities of the climb is most welcome.
Thanks in advance,

Roushan

Many trekking agencies in Ladakh offer custom expeditions to Nun and Kun. Both are quite challenging and require technical expertise as well as great fitness. The costs will be quite high as well as few very people have even been there. There are also some options in the Chandra Bhaga (CB) range, and in the state of Uttrakhand.
