7-day trek suggestions please

Delhi-ite, mid-40s in reasonable but not excellent shape (a friend actually) has 12 days off. Would like to do a easy to moderate solo trek - no guide, no tent type. Was thinking of Narkhanda onwards. Himachal, Uttaranchal types. Any suggestions? Many thanks in advance.

you could do several day hikes of overnight treks which do not involve using a guide or a tent. I had posted some of these on the forum a while back. Check out this link post #30 is what you need to see.

Pindari glacier, Milam glacier, Gangotri / Tapovan, VOF, Har Ki Doon etc (all these treks doesn't required tents / guides and can be done solo) are some of the popular tea house treks your friend could try.
