hi everyone. Here is my attempt at being seeing and counted as a fellow IM traveler. My daughter has invited me to go with her to Chenai to the "pilgrimage of Sound" workshop at Krisnamachayra Mandriam. We leave Spet 20. I am very excited, and I think prepared for the unexpected and allot of everything at once, at least compared to the meditative quiet life I'm used to in California. I would like to know if any of you may have sensible information as to what is the fastest (other than flying) route to take to go to Rameswaram and how long does it take to get there ? I will try to find my way back here again and hopefully someone will have read my post and have some information that can help us. THnaks all. Roxanism, if you'll be back by October 6th, please join us at our meetup and tell us about your visit to India. That conversation starts here: San Francisco Bay Area Meetups

Welcome, and simply stick around the site for news of Meetups. Our Californian friends seem to be quite active and meet up fairly regularly.
I can advise that you experience at least one overnight-plus train journey, if you have the time. For myself, I've fixed twelve hours as about the most I can stand to be on a train; we have many members here who are still wanting more after thirty-plus hours!
