I always like to make my own food, and i by Teacocker and Ricecocker for my room, and sometime i by a new Refridgerator.
I like all clean, that is why i by new things, and when i leave i give it all away. and in Vietnam i have to pay extra for electricity.

I dont like kitchens, all the smell, i feel best in a room with my own toalett and chower.

How is it in India, i have never been there before, now i'm gonna stay between Cennai and Pondicherry from Nov 5 to April 28.
Thinking of maybe Auroville, but moore possible somewhere else along the beach.

You will probably have, at most, a 6-amp socket, and the wiring may only be fit for lighting, which is much less. You may burn it out.

I used to use a kettle for heating washing water in my guest house, but actually burnt out a socket using the same kettle in my first home here.

I doubt very much that the hotels/guesthouses will approve, and they may have explicit rules against cooking in your room.

You can rent a room with attached kitchen and bath. It's cheap in India. You will have to clean everything before using, as it will be greasy and stained. A kettle and rice cooker should be ok. Some of the little 'flats' do come with a fridge, and you should easily be able to make it hygenic.

But, honestly, India is not a country for people who are perfectionists when it comes to cleanliness. I hope you won't get freaked out!

Thank you, now i know moore, i think i manage a 6 month stay !.
I think i'm gonna stay at http://www.kitebeaches.com/kitesurf/...eal_Beach.html moore expensive, but good for me,
i hope they like my cocking, every place so far on my trip's really like it, only watersteam coming out of it, no greasy fat ever.
if they have power for my ricecocker, if not i need to find another place to stay, no need to coock rice and tea at the same time, and i only need cold tapwater to clean my things, and doing it outside is OK.
Now offtopic;
My room is gonna be moore clean when i leave 6 months later, "perfectionist", if it's not clean i'm gonna get unnesseary moore insects in my room.
need to find a room, like in Vietnam, inside my house there, all look like a big bathroom, easy with microfiber to wasch everything.
a Beach hut is far moore complicated to keep clean.
