Cow = Maadu
Bull = Kaalai
Milch cows = Pasu
Calf = Kannu kutti!

ahhh..well..it depends..

if he is lazybones...you can certainly use the refined and sophisticated tamil observation/saying

erumai maadu mela mazhai peinja maadhiri

This was coined after the observing how erumai's behave in the rain.

Not to nitpick, but I've added better (colloquial, not formal) pronunciations for some. FYI, I'm a native speaker, so these are guaranteed to be right.

Use the latter one for both. The first one is too "classical" and no one says "nalamaa" in contemporary Tamil.
