Route From Terechendur To Trivandrum

Hai IndiaMikers,

I will be driving my car from Terichendur to Trivandrum sometime around Nov 20th, in fact from Ahmedabad thro TN cost and Kerala and Goa and back. I have the all the other routes covered more or less till Terichendur.

I haven an option to go to Valliyur from Terichendur by State highway, join NH 47, drive dwon to Nagarcoil and then take the Nh 47 up to trivandrum.

If you look at the map, this is a little longer, there must be state highways which cuts across through the hills to Padmanabhapuram and then to Trivandrum.

Anyone travelled this route recently or having information about this route will be appreciated. Any information would be usefu.

I almost forgot, I will be driving between November 12 and 20th the TN cost.

Will there be lots of rains now and how are the roads from Velankanni to Rameswaram to Terichendur. Tnx.
