Wink Thanks for sharing this with us!

Hi! Your article really made me remember how it is in India! I haven't been back for 11 years and am planning a trip in 2008.
I love how you write about how the coincidences just pile up and then one just lets go....
Hugs, fellow traveler!

Hi YogaGal!

I enjoy reading yr trip to Rameswaram very much. I come from Hong Kong and am going to spend 2 days in Rameswarm next month. I know that there are 2 Tamil Nadu Hotels. May I know which hotel you were staying at? And was the room clean (except the ants)? Being a virgo, I very much care about this...(although i tell myself need to lower my standard for my trip to Tamil Nadu coz I mostly will stay at middle class/budget hotels)

Tons of thanks!

hmmmm.....my place was right on the ocean, but sorry, don't know if that would be #1 or #2...when you make a reservation just say you want the one on the ocean side. if you look in my photo gallery you will see a pic I took off the balcony...

it was clean enough and I am also picky. did not have any ants at all! it's a cheap place, so expect the usual shabbiness you get with an inexpensive indian hotel.
