No cows yes, but I did see an elephant walking down the street yesterday.

There isn't much rubbish here at the moment. It's slow season though.

Pondicherry, at least when I was there a couple of weeks ago, is an astonishingly clean place. Certainly got lessons to teach Chennai!

The Governor or Chief whatever of Pondy declared that the city should be on a level with Singapur within 2 years

They are not getting close, and better keep some chaos alive , but they did introduce new cleaning schemes which make Pondy really an agreable and pleasent place different from the rest of in India.

i would like to make an on-line booking of a ticket from Bangalore to Pondicherry - Return
I used some of the above websites but though they show Pondicherry when we go to book it say No Online booking,
The KSRTC website wants all the info. I want to see what is available first.

Any other suggestions would be appreciated
