Ooty to Mysore -Taxi share partner needed

Hi

This is kinda last minute but am in Ooty just now - looking at moving from here on Tuesday -25th Morning to Mysore and then to Blore - is there anyone by remoootest chance who is looking at doing a similar trip and is interested in splitting the cab fare - smsm/bzz me if you are - my number is 981918 18477 and am alone... the fare is around 2 k till Mysore

You can try catching somebody in the stands near the bus station.

I used to do that to catch a ride to Coimbatore sometimes.

Tried it but guess the difference in the fares was too high so took a mini bus instead (Rs.125)- was supposed to start at 8.30 am left around 9.45 am . Impala Travels was what I had used but am told all of them are the same - they all wait for the bus to fill up before leaving. I reached Mysore by 1.30 so that was ok I guess. The view through Mudumallai Reserve is stunning- take the bus if you have time on your hand or else take the taxi (around Rs. 2 k) if you are feeling rich :-)-but eitherways go through the forest - worth it . BTW the State Transport buses cannot take that route- since its too steep /narrow for them.

Yes, we usually go through the reserve. Very nice.

Beware of elephants crossing.
