Pl.let mw know thw placesand spots in and around Ooty that must be visited during Summer , i.e. in May.
Which are the villages surrounded by Ooty where a group of 4 families could get basicand cozy accomodation ?

I was in Ooty many years ago in May but I only stayed in town so I can't really help you with surrounding places, but here's a site about Ooty that may help.

Not aware of villages around Ooty but..

We stayed at Lovedale the last time we went to Ooty.. in May. It is a few km from Ooty, and much quieter. It is not a village, though, and can be as expensive to stay as Ooty.

Places further would include Wellington (military area), Coonoor and Kotagiri (tea estates)... again not villages, and not well connected to Ooty.

Thank you every one for responding.
I am looking for specific clues which would make ourtrip more exciting. As compaired to last year,this year our group is having just 21 members.55% of fun is noth there,, so we msut make up things better ..
