New Years Party in Pondicherry

We are planning to be in Pondicherry this new yrs eve. We are a group of 4 (2 girls and 2 guys) and already have accommodation.
Can anyone tell me few nice places where we can go for party/clubbing on new yrs eve?

Even I and my girlfriend are planning to spend some time around New Year but have no information of whatsoever sorts..If you have any please share with us. Also I have heard that Auroville beach party is Awesome-est.

But I can't imagine a public NYE party in Pondicherry anywhere outside the five-star hotels. (don't know if they have walk-ins or if you have to be staying there to attend). If I have my friends and a car we'd rent a couple of rooms by the beach then spend NYE on the beach
