Is Ooty the best option

We have 3/4 days to spend around the Nilgiri hill area between time in Cochin and Mysore. Is there somewhere you can recommend thats better than Ooty ?

I have moved this thread to the ‘Tamil Nadu’ forum.

What a strange thread - could almost be called gutter tourism.

Anywhere is 'better' than anywhere else - to someone else.

I enjoyed Ooty, but unfortunately was only there for a day & a half.

I assume you have been to Ooty, you are asking for a better place, can you explain in what particular way you would like it to be better?

Can you give an indication as to what you are looking for or interested in, it may help others who would like to give info, but don't know if it will be useful.

If you mention your budget, someone may even suggest somewhere to stay.

When are you planning on going to the Nilgiri's?

I think what you have written might be labelled as travel snobbery - pardon me for being slack in my questioning - how contrived !
Twas a simple question - Ill re-phrase if you insist - is there somewhere that youve been-in addition to Ooty that you can recommend ?

Please spread your time in the following places
1) Ooty town + parks + dodabetta peak

2) Pykara boating + falls

3) mudumalai forests + sanctuary [actually this place is very close to mysore, and located on the way to Ooty from Mysore]

4) Kothagiri- a small town near ooty [20km away]. Some view points. This place is less commercialised hence less hotels and restaurants.

5) Coimbatore city- for some shopping and temples. Also good food.
