Is it the weather changing ?
Hi friends,
I ‘ll be landing in Chennai next november, heading to South. Looking at the weather forecast in Kumbakonam, Tiruvannamalai and Mysore it seems to me it’s raining almost every day. Is it a regular weather in Tamil/Karnataka for the end of October ? Any IM living there could confirm it ?

It is rainy season now down south. But, to be sure, forcasts generally always say "chances of rain" in rainy season, even if it would not rain that day.

rain in november in Tamil Nadu ?
Thanks for your replay. As far as I know, raining season should be already finished at the end of oct., but forecast I've red show me cloudy and raining weather at least for next 2 weeks in Tamil Nadu, that 's why I wonder something has changed.

There's a second minor southern monsoon in winter, which you may be referring to.
Also, the weather is hard to control There's some monsoon charts down at India climate chart , might be of help. Note also the link to the Indian Met. dept. there, which has the latest info on it.
