did any one have idea about DEVAKI ELITE hotel in Puduserry? how is this hotel? location and overall rating. please advice

i came to know about this hotel thourgh MAKE MY TRIP.COM
IT IS in BUSY STREET.. near mg road i think....

BUSY STREET was quite busy place. The place was alos quite decent. I think you can go it. But there are quite gud/budget hotels like Mass, Sangam...etc. Any way if it is suggested in MMT, i hope theywill not direct in wrong direction.

the problem is no one is accepting reservation through phone on 15th and 16th august. even this devaki elite.
i called somany hotels like, surya, jayaram, etc etc.
hotel mass and ananda inn are somewhat expensive.

now iam planing to go directly on 15th august to pondy and search for a hotel then. i belive, i will get a good hotel.

Yes they will not accept during Aug 15th, bcoz of holidays where the croud will be more. Better get into the hotel directly & enquire. But in hotels like Mass, Jayaram (Always full - Good for both boarding & lodging), Annamalai, Ananda you may not get in current booking.

too late now, but reason for crowds is that Independence Day is also Sri Aurobindo's birthday, so it is (was) a Darshan Day at the Ashram which means tens of thousands of people from all over India queueing up at the Ashram, hence all hotels full.

atlast i got a hotel "sri sapthagiri" near bus stand... but it was the Worst hotel that i have stayed in my life...
