Cheap & Clean Accommodation in Mamallapuram
Hey all, I am in Pondi right now and heading to Mama in a few days. Looking for a place to stay in the 500-800 range for a week or so, any recommendations? I would prefer a place with a sit out or common area if possible, in addition to being clean and comfy.
The guide books have listings but the prices are now much too high.
Would appreciate any suggestions. Thanks.

There is a small hotel thats run by a German and its called the Lutz Guest House and the tariff should be in that range of 1200 and below. I have not been to the place but got the details from another forum in which I am a member. You may contact the below number for further details.

I returned from Mahabalipuram yesterday.
I check a few hotels around Arjuna Penance. Most of them would provide a double bed room less than Rs 500.

Yunum(Aborted), Kedar Tal, Roopkund, Junargali pass, Sundardhunga Valley, Tapovan, Rudranath, Chandrashila peak, Beas Kund, Triundh, Chudhar peak,Dodital.
