Bird watching from Hyderabad
An avid birthwatcher is coming to visit me in Hyderabad in early September. He is only here for 5 days, but I'd like to take him to see some birds. Is there anywhere suitable accessible from Hyderabad? I'd be willing to stay away one night (perhaps drive somewhere, stay the night and return the next day?), but anywhere further than about 4 hours would be a bit tedious (I have a toddler).

The following site gives details of the places and where you can find birds.
http://www.fatbirder.net/links_geo/a...a_pradesh.html Your visitor may also be able to prepare ahead by visiting this http://www.geocities.com/ashpittie/mypage.html site. The BSAP home page seems to have moved, and I am not able to trace it out. Email Aasheesh and he may get you all the info you need. - Gopal |
