That would be American football and not soccer as I do believe you really do mean. "Go Browns!"

Ummm Terry ... you got throw your North American cousins a bone here. Maybe a "neither" option or a "baseball", basketball, etc. ... That not being the case I'll choose football (better yet if we're are talking about the Canadian invented variety)
Cricket is a game that I think you have to be brought up with - and spoon fed as a youngster, teen and on.

I second that. By football, you mean American football, right?

Let's say soccer here. Aussies call it soccer too and football can either be rugby league, rugby union or Australian rules football.

But I'd rather cricket. Over both rugby codes, American football, soccer, etc.

Sorry I can't edit the poll for baseball and basketball. So make sure I did mean cricket and football (the game with the feet what "crvlvr" says) like the worldcup 2006

And plus soccer and cricket are the two most popular sports in the world, another reason for not adding sports like baseball.

An Australian woman I met in India, once told me that watching cricket is like "watching paint dry". And from my Croatian perspective, I was forced to agree with her...

I'm not a football fan though (and I mean the real football, not the American version of rugby ), but I watched a few games of this world cup, and I must congratulate the Australian team for their play yesterday. They would have won 4:2 against Croatia had the judge adjudicated them the two penalties they were rightly entitled to.
The truth is that the Croatian team played so shamefully that I cheered for the Australian team from around the second part of the first half...

Yes, you guessed it, I prefer fooball...

Stamp collecting.

Somehow I can't bring myself to enjoy sitting in a chair watching other people run around. It seems so hypocritical somehow (this is a judgement on MYSELF only - nobody else). Perhaps that's because it reflects my inner and outer laziness. Ouch! I must go away and reflect on this........

Well I would but that sounds like work. Back to the hammock then.

Football. Specifically the aesthetic genius of Arsene Wenger's Arsenal
