Test Match Special (Cricket)

Hi all,

Visiting India for the first time next month. Travelling to Delhi,Agra,Rajasthan and finally upto Chandigarh for some Test Match Cricket.Will I be able to get BBC Radio 4 World service and therefore be able to get TMS(Cricket commentry). It would be wonderful to listen to Boycs,Aggers et al while I am out there.

You should get the BBC cricket commentary on the 16, 25 or 31 metres band on Short Wave. Buy a dual band transistor in India - make sure it has SW !

In the days before the television satellite channels changed life in India, the dual band pocket transistor was a part of my attire in the Indian monsoon. It was sheer pleasure listening to Chris Martin Jenkins & Co. waxing eloquent on Ian Botham's outswingers, David Gower's artistry and Alan Border's short arm pull !

Will get one (SW Radio) as soon as I arrive.
Don't suppose Itrip (Ipod radio) do a SW one.
