Olympics and why does India have only one medal

Eritrea only came into existence in the 1990s
It was formally part of Ethiopia and fought a war of independence for 30 years
As part fo the peace treaty the two countries mutually decided to split.

There have been minor land disputes since one degenerating into a some shelling over a strip about 50 miels sq.
However on the whole the slit has been amicable and quite successful

An incredible part of the world from all accounts especially Ethiopia which is very mountainous and contains unique apes. Im sure it is also the source of the Nile though that may be Sudan
