Welcome to IndiaMike.com

And thank you for that wonderful typo :laugh Made my day

Try this link to a site someone else on the site found recently. I don't know that there are that many native martial arts here, but KALARIPAYAT is one, and Kerala is a beautiful place to be.

Or, if it wasn't a typo.... you can meet some pretty hefty rats on most Indian streets at about 2.00am. Wouldn't recommend you to try taking on on without several years training with dummy rats first, though.

Welcome.

I just dropped some of my tea after reading the first post.

Unfortunately, the typo got corrected.

Maybe this is the wrong time to talk of Freudian slips, or king rats.

It is surprising that you have many varieties of foreign martial arts schools in big cities in India, but very few of the Kerela ones. Or maybe they arent publicised so much.

Hello
Welcome michaelemil! I know in Arambol, in Goa, there has been an indian guy teaching karate on the beach, have no name nor number though..

Then I donīt know if Kapoeira would be defined as a martial art, but I guess it somewhat is, never mind, I know this as well is taught on the beach in Arambol.

Hope you find something that suits you!
All the best
