I can't believe Viru did not play the highest wicket taker in IPL-V - something is fishy? Did N. Srinivas have a role to play ?

Cheers

Anything possible when it's "raining money"; a strange decision - No way to justify that !

My heartfelt congratulations to "Bongs" both who I call friends and everywhere.......
Kolkata Knight Riders are IPL champions, and I've got no fingernails left!!!!!!!

What a match!!!

Now PARTY!!!

P.S. commiseration to Chennai fans but you played well, exceptionally so, this score would have won many many of the league games but this wasn't your Knight, and you have already tasted the success..

I usually dont watch IPL tamasha but since it was final I saw it and it was good.Since IPL is over, we can see ODI/Test matches in action soon

Thank D, it is over.

For the next few months, Kolkatta, West Bengal, bongs worldwide will forget the pain and misery of Didi. Some will attribute it to her leadership, others will muse, that Dada had a big hand in this victory. But for his leadership in Pune, Kolkata would have never made the final four.

Didi, will blame Maoist and CPM cadre, and invite Amarika to start investing in Bengal because it has the bhinning combination. While a spokesperson for CPM cadre, speaking outside Chaa'er dokan will denounce the corrupting influence of dilliwalas and phoreners on Kolkata's Night Drivers. He will be promptly beaten by irate dokanwala for driving paying customers off.

Great show by KKR!!
One of the best IPL finals....Bisla really batted well on the big occasion.

SRK was so happy that he gave an apology on national TV!

wonder if the city will now be painted purple and gold instead of blue

... and like a colleague said - " bongs really dont do any work, do they - its a WORKING day dammit "

bengal obviously has nothing else to celebrate about, than a club and organisation which is rife with corruption.
sheeeeeeeeeesh.

This is the only probable explanation!

Saw the clipping on a news channel of protesters being lathicharged and cuorisity got me to see the whole part.

and voila ....just can't understand the mass psychology at work here, celebrating something so insignificant as this!

The news said that Mamata hijacked the KKR celebration at the Eden Gardens today - she has nothing to show for as the Chief Minister after 1 year in office. SRK is lapping it up - my guess he will negotiate tax breaks from her.

As the world squirms .

Cheers
