Tough ask for Mumbai. 188 in 20 overs to win.

CSK started off disastrously losing 2 wickets in over #2. Then Hussey & Badrinath put on a good stand after which Dhoni & Bravo lit up the sky! Some of their shots were amazing.
187/5 is excellent.
Let us see what MI can do.
Cheers

Thanks for posting. A fascinating watch.
I see that even in the early days there were lots of ladies watching India. Also great (for me) to see footage of that tremendous spell by Fred Trueman. I saw him play once or twice when I was very young but I had never seen that piece of archive before.
Back to today and the 2nd Test at Trent Bridge starts very soon.

yes - it is quite a well-done documentary - of how the indian cricket team came to be.
... but, hockey is the national sport - a lil goof up there, in the commentary !
watching trueman - did think of you dave
have watched a test match at the eden, 'twas against the WI - and all i remember was chandrashekhar's shirt billowing behind him as he went in to bowl
they wore cotton shirts in them days !
i must've been 10-11 years old then - and my first cricket crush
remember tony greig throwing oranges at the crowd at eden
he was very popular there - and of course ian botham !!
the other end of the spectrum was bill lawry ...
it was even great seeing the WI hurricane quartet. nothing quite like 'em after.
sunil naraine seems to have picked up and filled the vacuum of bowling for the WI
after so so sooo many years - lovely to see dickie bird, umpiring
nothing quite like him or david shepherd since.

CSK made the semi finals of all IPL editions and 3rd consecutive final. How of this is due to Dhoni and how much due to N. Srinivasan?
