Why is cricket popular in India? Thoughts?
Is it because one can enjoy cricket without understanding the nitty gritty details?

There are so many details in Cricket, that one cannot even understand what is happening without knowing them.

Its so popular because you cannot avoid it..where ever you go, it will be right there in your face...and most of the people succumb to it sooner than later...

Match Preview

TONIGHT:
Bangalore Royal Challengers vs Rajasthan Royals
M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bangalore,
20:00 local, 14:30 GMT

Dubbed as the weakest team in the inaugural IPL, Rajasthan Royals certainly have been a revelation and flattened favourites like Kings XI Punjab and Deccan Chargers.

Led by charismatic and wily Shane Warne, the Jaipur outfit suddenly looks like a formidable side.
Rahul Dravid-led Challengers slumped to a big loss in their first match against Kolkata Knight Riders but came back remarkably against Mumbai Indians in the next match.

Thumbs down kolkata vs chennai

chennai sent us packing in our chaddees...
kindof expected it
good thing is, its a wake-up call for ganguly... the guy can get complacent.
devastatingly outplayed this evening - in every area
ah well... the games go on - and we will meet chennai once more -
and then again - in the finals

indizen: thank you muchest for the regular posts of the IPL schedule. really helps. muchly appreciated

Thanks for the updates Indizen. How about including a points table so that we can see how our teams are doing.
