As stated in my earlier post #68, this trend is likely to continue. Not just England or India, but most of the teams.

The man is absolutely infuriating. He clearly has the necessary talent but appears to be totally lacking in application/ temprament/ team awareness or common sense. The England team have done just enough to avoid getting lynched when they get home but I suspect that no lessons have been learned as far as tours of the sub-continent are concerned.
The inconvenience caused is deeply regretted.

Towards the end of Day 4 I thought the test between West Indies and Australia was meandering towards a draw.
Good fight back by Australia. They have got a chance of winning the test.

The WIndies gave away the match when they allowed the tail of the Aussies wag in the 1st innings - the unbeaten knock of 68 or so by Ryan Harris being crucial.
A fascinating test match that went down the wire in fading light.
Keeps test match cricket still alive. I think WI will be stronger with Gayle & Ravi Rampaul back in the team.
Cheers

For the first three days, it seemed that only one team can loose that game. Finally, that team emerged victorious! Good exhibition of unpredictability of a test match.

Intriguing final day has just started at Lords with England fighting to save the game against some lively West Indies seam bowling. England currently at 15 for 2 needing to get 191 to win.
I bet they wish that they had Narine playing for them.

England won by 5 wickets. Cook & Bell (sounds like the name of a pub or a travel agent
) had a good partnership.
Interesting that since RCB is out of the IPL playoffs, Sammy commented that he and coach Otis would welcome Gayle if the selectors pick him to be included for the remaining 2 Tests. He said that they were having trouble at the top order. I hope that since Gayle has stated that he is available to play for WI in Tests, ODI and T20, the selectors keep their ego aside and welcome Gayle to join the Test party In England. Shillingford will most probably play the 2nd Test.

Kemar Roach is also flying back to Jaamica due to injury - reportedly Sunil Naraine is replacing him - no news of Gayle Storm joining for the last Test.
I love the writing of Mark Nicholas - former hampshire captain - reminds me of Peter roebuck.

He has announced it now. Love him or hate him, he is a colorful character and he will be missed in ODIs and T20Is.And England may find it difficult to defend their World T20 title this year without him.
Yes and definitely he will play in IPL and he may also start playing freelance T20 tournaments across the world (when Eng is not playing Tests), like Chris Gayle. You never know.
