First Test India V Aust

Vandy's in Bangalore and all systems are GO for the First Test.

Tickets in Hand,Just got to purchase my India Flag first thing
in the Morning.

Place I'm staying at is actually part of the Stadium, couldn't
ask for any closer than that.

Will post a few reports as the Test goes.

Cheers & Time for a G&T, on the Lawn off course.

enjoy vandy!

i hope the stadium is, at least, half-full.
unfortunately, tests dont attract them crowds no more.
kumble being a bangalore boy - it just might attract some crowd.
just outside the stadium is the 'kumble circle' - its the crossing of mg road and st marks road!!!!

Drawn match and an ill-spirited drab game on a terrible wicket. No wonder people are voting with their feet.

The match could have gone either way over the last 2 days, with
Aust having the upper hand as far as a win.

Ponting praised the wicket, which by the way held firm even to the last day.

Brisso, I take it youv'e been listening to the Oz media, and as far as ill - spirited goes, Please explain.Ther was only 1 incident when Shane Watson thought he was Andrew Symonds and started Sprouking Off when Bowling.Hayden was also a bit Chirpy,
still chucking a SAD from his 2 Dismissals.

Met IM's Mr Tender & BradH at the game, had some good laughs.

Did a couple of Indian TV interviews,Star Sports & News Today,
now that was interesting.

I heard the Aus Media got stuck into Ganguly,Nothing New Really.

BTW, I went into the Stand where the passionate locals go,We
called it the Mosh Pitt, went there with local Bangalorean IMiker Batistuta. Had an absolute ball, especially when the
Mexican Wave got going, great experience I won't forget in a hurry.

Became good friends with the Pitch Curator( guy from NZ)who was staying at the same place as myself(Stadium Club House)had a few
Foster's sessions with him.

Currently in Cochin and heading off into the Hills tomorrow for
Munnar & Kumily.

Bye for now
