All said and done it will be a great series, the Indian spin bowlers did not trouble the English batsman in the first game, but they have to watch out for them, may the best team win.

Faridabad is only an hours drive from Delhi and there is a ODI there 3 days after the Delhi ODI, so you may still have to sit through a day of cricket.

now that shows real dedication!

So, will kevin save the day after alastair cook failed to repeat his performance in the 1st test?

It's looking a little shaky so maybe we will be grateful for the rain before it finishes...just like the old days!

honours even....?

...end of day 3 and, despite losing most of day 2, the game is still alive and there for either side to take. Inspirational batting tomorrow from Dhoni, Dravid & Pathan could see England facing a very testing 100-150 run deficit going into the second innings....on the other hand, if Harmy, Hoggy and Freddie can rip thru' the Indian batting tomorrow India could be facing a very difficult fourth innings on a pitch which may well offer deviation and variable bounce for England's seamers...most likely is the draw tho...

...and, hey, maximum respect to Anil Kumble - 500 test wickets reached in this game!

peace & love

oh dear, things are beginning to look a little sweaty again....Let's hope flintoff and hoggy can hold things at bay long enough to still win this thing.

wanna bet deave, my cards are with the indians, of course biased as an indian. But it would be interesting to know what happens tomorrow. The target is an achievable one yet interesting. Nail-biting finish perhaps (goosepimples)

So, you're in the wonderfully named wankhede...excellent! i hope the boys make it all worth while for you and your family!!

Now, if only the indians wouldn't be content with a draw...

Well Done, Team Chappell

Congrats to our DEMI-GOD coach - he is making steady progress towards achieving his vision of people in green baggies lifting the 2007 world cup.

India 2nd innings (target: 313 runs)Total
100
(10 wickets; 48.2 overs)

Has India ever scored a lower total in a 50 over limited overs ODI? Even during the tenure of the worst captain India had?

Yes PD, not so long back india scored close to 60 runs and lost the final in sharjah to murali and srilanka by more than 200 runs.. so it has happened before. Nothing to do with the coach.. just the bad form of some players... !!
