england cricket tour

upset stomachs, players returning home early, a drubbing in what should have been an easy warm-up match...

must be the start of an england tour

Come on boys!!

Hmm, that's a difficult one:

What could be better? Lets try
a/ watching paint dry
b/ watching grass grow
c/ nailing my hands to the wall
d/ eating rat droppings
e/ etc.

As you can guess, I'm not a fan of sport in any way, shape or form but I do love my wireless.

Tim in Ireland

PS - I'm not a great fan of drinking either - what on earth am I doing in Ireland ?

Indian spinners (& pacers also) are going to destroy the English batting line up.

England Will Forget Ashes victory after the Indian tour.

However One dayers will be more competitive then Tests.

foreigner as in a welshman supporting cricket or foreigner as in not welsh??

actually, it's the latter as i am a true englishman!

Is it worth mentioning that it is the 'england AND wales' cricket board that runs the sport...just look at the wonderfully-named 'geraint jones'!

aha...the gloves are off eh?! Actually, not sure i can really argue with you when one considers the problems we are facing with selection. But, if all are boys are fit, that would be a different story

hey, let's be positive

...England are now missing one in-form batsman (Marcus Trescothick), one out-of-form batsman (Michael Vaughan) and one bowler who's fitness hadn't been tested (Simon Jones)....in their place we're getting some young, hungry players (Anderson, Cook, Shah) who will want to seize the opportunity while they can....if England can just keep in the series till Mumbai then who knows....?

peace & love
